Navajo Nation

The Navajo Nation Outreach Project is a group of eleven Williams students that will be traveling to Arizona during the first week of Spring Break to teach in an underfunded and understaffed elementary school on the Navajo Reservation. This will be the third year that Williams students have made such a trip; in the past, we have taught successful workshops on everything from volcanoes to abstract art.  Additionally, we plan to visit the local high school, which has a high drop-out rate, to speak on the importance of a college education.
