Dale Markey

My name is Dale Markey, and I will be blogging for the Women’s Golf Team.  I hail from East Canaan, Connecticut–otherwise known as the middle of nowhere.  I attended The Hotchkiss School, where I began playing golf as a freshman, when my parents decided that lacrosse had become too dangerous of a sport for my accident-prone teenage self.  Here at Williams I am a double major in Political Science and Psychology, and I was lucky enough to spend the year abroad in the United Kingdom on the Williams-Exeter Programme at Oxford.  I have played golf competitively all four years at Williams, and I’m looking forward to my last spring season as a second semester senior.  Next year I’ll be heading down to the Mississippi Delta to teach secondary English with Teach For America.  I’m eager for the the change of scenery and the possibility to play golf all year round!
