Christine Chung

My name’s Christine Chung and I’m a senior psych major here at Williams. This year I’m the co-editor in chief, along with my friend Prim Songkaeo ’11, of Gusto!, the gastronomic society on campus. Our club is dedicated to the appreciation of all things culinary, and so far, we’ve put out two issues of an online magazine, with contributions from students(http://gastronomicgusto.com). I’m from Connecticut, and the proximity to NYC, one of the choicest food meccas of the world, was probably a formative component of shaping my love of food. I’ve spent my summers interning in the city, but really, mostly on a food tour all around the boroughs (cupcakes at Magnolia, banh mi’s in Chinatown, vegan food in Park Slope). Other than food, I’m very interested in music, fashion, korean culture, and at the moment, making the most out of my senior year. I’m hoping that my career post Williams will include a delectable combination of writing and food, in some way shape or form!
